Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Truck Driver to support military operations by transporting cargo and supplies and preparing vehicles for movement by air, rail, or sea. You will operate wheeled vehicles, manage load/unload, and ensure safety of personnel during transport.

Job duties include loading/unloading checks and applying convoy defense techniques. Training is provided with a structured 10-week Basic Training and 7-week Advanced Individual Training program.

Qualifications

• Must be enlisted in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, or be a junior in high school.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal/moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and check proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers.
• Employ convoy defense techniques.
