Job summary

Shaw Industries in Orlando, FL is seeking a Truck Driver - 1st Shift to operate a Class A tractor-trailer on a non-rotating 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday with early start times. You’ll be delivering Shaw products locally, enjoying a home-daily schedule and a stable, year-round workload.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 24 years old.
• Class A CDL required.
• Have a minimum of 2 out of the last 3 years of current commercial roadway driving experience, or 3 out of the last 5 years of commercial roadway driving experience, or a minimum of 2 years of applicable heavy military vehicle driving experience.
• Have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Be able to maneuver heavy products using forklifts and pallet jacks if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8-hour non-rotating shift; hours fall on the punch day and observed calendar; shift starts AM.
• Deliver products to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
• Maintain professionally the equipment; perform routine inspections and report issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Shaw Industries to customers.
