D Wade Transportation is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Truck Driver to transport equipment, materials, and supplies to local job sites throughout the Greater Houston area. This position offers consistent local routes, allowing drivers to return home daily.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Transport equipment, construction materials, and other loads to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Secure and inspect cargo to ensure safe transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and job site personnel.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Texas CDL Class A driver’s license.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• At least 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety.

Preferred Credentials

• End Dump Experience
• Tanker or other CDL endorsements (preferred but not required).
• Experience hauling construction equipment or building materials.
• Experience in flatbed. (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of Houston and surrounding areas.
