Ideal candidates have a CDL Class A, 2 years OTR experience, clean safety record, and knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules. You will perform inspections, maintain logs, follow safety procedures, and provide courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight over long distances.
• Remain out on the road for at least 4 weeks at a time, followed by 1 week home.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Ensure freight is transported safely, securely, and delivered on time.
• Maintain logs and records in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding load status, delays, route changes, and delivery updates.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or violations immediately.
• Secure cargo properly and verify load information before departure.

Drivers in this role are expected to remain on the road for a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks, followed by 1 full week at home. The ideal candidate will have strong trip-planning skills, a solid understanding of DOT regulations, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
