Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses from Thomaston, AL. You’ll be the face of Ferrellgas in the community, delivering safely and professionally while maintaining logs and performing inspections.

Qualifications include valid CDL, HAZMAT & Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain), up-to-date driving record, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Local routes keep you close to home.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A or B, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or ability to obtain quickly.
• Good driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Citizenship or work authorization in the United States; no visa sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.
