Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Propane Truck Driver to join our Sulphur Springs team. You will load, transport, and deliver propane to residential and industrial customers on local routes, with the expectation of being home every night. Occasional after-hours on-call rotations for emergencies may be required.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and adherence to DOT regulations. A Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is preferred or must be obtained quickly,

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience is preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• physically able to lift up to 60 pounds, in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations
• Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
• Maintains compliance with all DOT requirements

Ferrellgas Truck Drivers are critical to our success as they are the face of our company in their daily interactions with our current and future customers.

As a full-time truck driver on our team, you will pick up and deliver propane to residential and industrial customers in a safe and efficient manner. Ferrellgas truck drivers can expect to work local routes and be home every night; however, on-call rotations for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries may be needed.
