ADM is hiring a Local CDL A Truck Driver for the Decatur, IL location with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a $1,000 referral bonus. Local/home daily schedule and full benefits are included; uniforms provided and 401(k) with company matching funds are available.

The role requires a Class A CDL with a Tank endorsement, HazMat endorsement within 60 days, and 1 year of verifiable driving experience. DOT pre-employment screening, DOT physical, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement required to start; HazMat endorsement within 60 days.
• 21 years of age minimum.
• 12 months verifiable OTR or Local experience in last 7 years.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Background check and functionality testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate tanker, pneumatic, intermodal, or flat bed equipment safely per company & customer instructions.
• Plan trips including breaks, fuel stops, and appointments; manage weather and traffic.
• Load/unload product as directed and ensure secure staging and delivery.
• Work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed to meet deadlines.

Job Summary:

• The Class A tanker truck driver position requires a Class A CDL with no restrictions and a Tanker endorsement to start with Haz Mat endorsement required within 60 days of hire. The driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. The driver will sit for several hours at a time while operating their equipment. Equipment can include but is not limited to semi truck, tank trailers, dry van, pneumatic, intermodal, and flat beds. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions. Weekends, nights, and holidays will be required to make timely deliveries to our customers. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate.

Essential Job Functions:

The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations. This includes but is not limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL.

• No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
• No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
• Candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check and functionality testing.
