Job summary

Barnhart is seeking a Driver to move oversized loads, including heavy-haul equipment and modules, in North America. You’ll work with pilot cars and crew members to ensure safe, on-time deliveries and compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires CDL Class A, experience with large trailers, and willingness to travel. This team emphasizes safety, reliability, and operating leading equipment on challenging routes.

Qualifications

• Mandatory CDL Class A license and practical experience with over‑dimensional or heavy haul transport.
• Experience operating large platform trailers (1+ year).
• Knowledge of axle weight distribution and load securement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Flexibility to travel for assignments.

What You Bring

Required:

• CDL Class A license
• Class C/D Driver's License
• Experience with over‑dimensional or heavy haul transport
• At least 1+ year operating large platform trailers
• Knowledge of axle weight distribution and load securement
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team environment
• Flexibility to travel

Preferred:

• Experience with multi-axle configurations or Goldhofer equipment

Additional Expectations:

• Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed

Work Environment

• 40–70 hours per week depending on workload
• Frequent travel with 80%+ overnight trips
• Mix of highway and occasional off‑road hauling
• Team-based projects with rotating schedules (days/nights/weekends as needed)
