Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking a CDL A driver to operate the mobile breast care coach and related vans. You will deliver the coach to imaging sites and ensure it is ready for patient procedures. At day’s end, you’ll collect the coach and equipment and return them to campus.

The role requires CDL A, 3+ years of CDL experience, and maintenance of 18-wheeler trucks/trailers. On-site work with potential for additional compensation beyond base pay.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A driver license required upon hire and proof of insurance as per policy.
• Minimum of three years of CDL Class A driving experience.
• Experience performing routine maintenance on heavy trucks/trailers.

The commercial driver operates and maintains the Swedish Breast Care Express mobile coach and the vans for the Mobile Mammography Program. The driver delivers coach to site and readies coach for patient imaging. The driver collects coach and equipment at end of day and returns to campus.

Required Qualifications

• Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• Upon hire: Washington State CDL (Class A) driver’s license and proof of insurance per company policy will be required.
• 3 years experience as a CDL Class “A” Driver.
• Experience providing routine maintenance of 18-wheeler truck/trailer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Upon hire: Brake Inspector certification
