Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses in Salem, IL. You’ll hit the road daily on local routes, providing safe, friendly service and representing Ferrellgas in the community.

Qualified candidates will hold a Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or be able to obtain), have a high school diploma, a good driving record, and be able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Citizen or National of the United States, or work authorization in the United States.
• Not requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in the community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Assist customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving recordPhysically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
