Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver to join our team in the Raleigh area. You’ll deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses, staying on local routes so you’re home every night.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service while representing Ferrellgas in the community. Qualifications include a Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain quickly), a good driving record, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity daily.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
