Job description

Job Location: Pulaski, TN 38478 | Position Type: Full Time | Salary Range: $21.50 Hourly | Job Shift: Day

We’re seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Truck Driver to join our delivery team. You’ll be responsible for transporting building materials - such as joint compound, paint, corner metal, and drywall supplies - to job sites, retail stores, and customer locations. This role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly and our customers supplied on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver building materials to designated locations
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack)
• Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments
• Maintain delivery schedules and communicate delays or issues promptly
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
• Assist with warehouse duties when not on delivery routes (as needed)

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL license (this is a DOT requirement) and MVR with no more than one moving violation in the last year
• Must have at least one year of driving experience with 10 speed manual transmission experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Candidates must pass driving test, drug screen, and background check. [Convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. However, company policy does not permit the employment of candidates with some classes/types convictions.]
