Ferrellgas in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses. Local routes mean you’ll be home nightly while helping keep families warm year-round.

You’ll operate propane trucks, perform daily inspections, and provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community. Comprehensive training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record and clean DMV history.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred.
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
