Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Los Angeles.

As a truck driver you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances while adhering to safety regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive long haul trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Plan routes and track schedules for timely delivery of shipments.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Secure cargo according to safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and expenses.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, shippers and receivers.
• Adhere to all traffic laws regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Valid commercial drivers license CDL with clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a long haul truck driver or similar role.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Physical stamina for long hours of driving and loadingunloading cargo.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills in English knowledge of other languages is a plus.
