Lhoist North America is seeking a CDL-A driver to load and deliver lime slurry, performing pre/post-inspections to ensure DOT compliance. You’ll operate and maintain loading equipment, inspect and repair as needed, and train local contractors in safe handling of lime slurry and emergency procedures.

Load and deliver lime slurry to the customers. Complete Pre/Post Inspections on equipment the ensure DOT regulations are met. We have a pool of drivers hauling product from various terminals and Porta Batch production sites to the customer.
Deliver slurry shipments in a safe and timely manner. Operation and Maintenance of Equipment: Read and interpret various gauges and instruments used in loading and handling equipment. Analyze and evaluate work conditions and make adjustments to equipment as necessary. Perform equipment inspections in accordance with DOT requirements. Make minor repairs to equipment as needed to maintain fleet operation. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the DOT, safety, TCEQ, and environmental regulations are followed. Training: Educate and train the local contractors in the safe handling of quicklime/ slurry, and cover emergency medical procedures in case of accidental exposure.
Class A CDL & Tanker endorsement (N)
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Verifiable CDL driving experience and/or recent completion of CDL truck driving school.
Two years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
