Job summary

Rexel in Duluth, GA is hiring a Truck Driver to deliver products to customers and Rexel locations. The role runs Monday–Friday from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm with weekends off, and no CDL is required.

You will inspect the vehicle, follow DOT regulations, load and unload orders, and ensure accurate delivery documentation is completed with customer signatures.

Senior Truck Drivers will mentor entry-level teammates and help with other branch duties as needed, emphasizing safety and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record check.
• No CDL required but able to operate a delivery van/box truck.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle for defects and complete daily inspection.
• Keep vehicle clean and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload material and verify correct order quantities and types.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery when needed.
• Complete all delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures.
• Pick up material returns and verify condition and quantities.
• Support branch operations and other duties as required.

We are looking for a Truck Driver to join our Rexel team in Duluth, GA!

The shift for this position is Monday-Friday, 4am - 12:30pm with weekends off!

Summary

Employee's level and pay will be dependent on their level of experience, knowledge, and capabilities.

The Truck Driver is responsible for delivering products to/from customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and company suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required). Responsible for ensuring that deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner and materials are correct and free of damage.

What You'll Do

• Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects; responsible for completing a daily inspection report
• Keep company vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; alert supervisor of repair and/or service needed
• Must follow Department of Transportation (DOT), local and state driving laws and regulations
• Load or unload vehicle and ensure all material for each order is correct (quantity and type of material) and that material is free of damage before departure
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Ensure all appropriate documentation is thoroughly completed at the time of delivery, including delivery receipt is signed by the customer, packing list and branch/warehouse manifest
• Pick up material returns from customers; responsible for inspecting the condition of the material and verifies quantities and catalog numbers
• Pick up material from company suppliers
• Senior Truck Driver will participate in the training of entry level Truck Drivers; and provides mentorship and coaching
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch when required including but not limited to counter sales, preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material, and maintaining branch equipment

What You'll Need

• In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
