Job summary

LA Lucky is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our regional freight team as an independent contractor.

Routes span TX, FL, AL, MS, TN, KY, GA, SC and NC. Pay is $1900 per load with a guaranteed minimum of 40 loads per year, plus $1900 vacation pay each year and favorable home time.

Requirements: valid Class A CDL, 2+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

• Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Clean MVR with no major violations.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials along designated routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD).
• Verify cargo security, weight distribution and paperwork.
