Job summary

Carleton Equipment Corporation in Michigan is seeking a CDL-A Lowboy Driver for a full-time, local/home daily schedule from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Overtime may apply. You will haul equipment to and from customer job sites and assist with transfers between dealers.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL and ability to operate a detachable low-boy trailer. You will load/unload, drive safely, communicate with customers, and maintain paperwork. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and meet DOT qualifications.
• Experience with low-boy/flatbed equipment preferred.
• Able to operate a tractor with a detachable low-boy trailer.

Job description

CDL-A Lowboy Driver – Local / Home Daily.

This is full time job from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. that may include overtime. Drive for us and have a set schedule for family time!

We are a construction equipment dealer and have 7 locations throughout Michigan. You'll be hauling equipment to & from customer's job sites as well as help facilitate transfers from dealer to dealer.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Meet all DOT qualifications
• Must be able to drive Tractor with a detachable low-boy

Responsibilities

• Must be able to load and unload equipment
• Operate Equipment Safely
• Communicate with customers when needed
• Facilitate routine maintenance on trucks; Check oil, water, gasoline, & air. Report malfunctions to supervisor
• Maintain signed invoices, BOLs, and other required paperwork

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
