Job summary

PPG in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Truck Driver for local and multi-state deliveries with occasional overnight routes. You will operate a 26 ft box truck, prepare and document loads, and maintain safety and accuracy on every stop.

Qualified candidates are 18+, with two years’ driving experience, a valid CDL Part A/B, Hazmat endorsement, and 49 CFR/IATA certifications. The role requires lifting up to 80 lbs; shifts run 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with some weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with two years’ experience.
• Must have or obtain a valid CDL - Part A or Part B.
• Hazmat endorsement required for transporting hazardous materials.
• Must possess or obtain 49CFR and IATA certifications.
• Able to use hand/power tools and operate equipment like forklift or pallet jack.
• Flexible hours including weekends; lift up to 80 lbs infrequently and 40–60 lbs routinely.

Pay Rate: $24.97/Hour

Shift: Day shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Local and multi – state delivery with overnight travel for certain routes

As a Truck Driver, you will provide outstanding customer service and develop relationships with a variety of customers as a part of a fast-moving, dynamic sales team! Other responsibilities include making local deliveries in a safe and efficient manner utilizing a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and two years’ experience
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Class State Driver's License - Part A or Part B (CDLA or CDLB)
• Must possess or obtain a HAZMAT certificate required for transporting hazardous related materials
• Required to possess or obtain 49CFR and IATA certifications
• Safely use hand and power tools and operate equipment such as forklift, barrel dolly, pallet jack and hand truck
• Must be able to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Basic math skills including knowledge or weight calculations/conversions
• Lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds routinely
• Position requires ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, carry, and reach for paint products.
