Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and box trucks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects.
• Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and repair.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate trucks to transport goods to their destination
• Plan and execute delivery routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, both inside and out
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times
