Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Truck Install/Electro-Mechanical Technician to assemble tow bodies on chassis, install hydraulics, wiring, and lighting, and verify functionality. The role requires reading directions, maintaining safety, and collaborating across departments.

The technician will follow specifications, torque bolts, and perform tests to ensure proper operation. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 7am–6pm, with 8-hour days and a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions with a positive attitude.
• Read and write in English.
• Understand how to use an iPad.
• Learn installation of wrecker bodies and beds onto chassis.
• Knowledge of/ability to learn automotive wiring.
• Knowledge of/ability to learn hydraulic installation.
• Identify quality issues and adjust production processes.
• Work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Complete documentation, track material usage and hours.
• Adherence to all safety policies and attendance/punctuality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Perform other duties as required by management

Truck Install/Electro - Mechanical Technician

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am to 6pm (must work an 8 hr day)

Salary: $25-32 BOE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Occasionally modify chassis prior to tow body installation
• Install tow body onto chassis
• Install hydraulics onto engine or transmission and plumb hydraulics into tow body
• Install custom wiring and lighting to tow body and chassis
• When complete, ensures that the tow truck is built and functioning correctly.
• Coordinates with necessary departments to troubleshoot a variety of issues.
• Torques bolts to specific setting according to the build specifications.
• Adjusts the fluid levels to ensure that the tow truck is functioning properly.
• Performs a running test of the equipment to ensure that components are functioning properly when the engine is on
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our customers or other team members.
