Job summary

Cornhusker International Trucks, Inc. is seeking a full-time Body Shop Technician in Omaha, NE. The role requires welding, fabrication and body repair across truck and trailer systems. Monday–Friday schedule with an emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of body shop experience, knowledge of fiberglass repairs, and a clean driving record. ASE certifications and eagerness to learn are preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Truck or Automotive Body shop repair.
• Experience in fiberglass repair to company standards including panel repairs, straightening and filling when required.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of welding and oxy/acetylene cutting procedures.
• Clean driving record and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair damaged equipment and perform maintenance per policies.
• Perform welding, installation and alignment of body components.
• Inspect and repair sheet metal, fiberglass, and structural areas.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate needs to supervisor.
