Job summary

Campus Camps in New York is seeking an outgoing Trip Leader to ensure camper safety and oversee activities for 12-20 middle school campers on off-campus trips. You will plan fun activities, provide outdoor education, and set up camping equipment with a focus on safety.

The role requires a CDL or experience transporting children, along with strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a camp counselor or in a similar position.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or experience transporting children.
• Physically capable of hiking, running, and carrying equipment.
• First-aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of campers on off-campus trips.
• Drive a 15-passenger van to locations on Long Island.
• Monitor campers and escort them to various activities.
• Provide fun learning opportunities for campers.
• Set up, take down, and maintain camp equipment.
• Communicate with parents.

We are seeking an outgoing and experienced Trip Leader to join our team! As a Trip Leadee, your top priority will be to ensure the safety of our campers. You will oversee camper activities and make sure they don’t get lost or hurt. You will also plan fun activities and games, provide outdoor education, and set up camping equipment. The ideal candidate loves the outdoors and wants to share their passion with campers! In addition to supervising a group of 12-20 middle school aged campers on off-campus trips, we are looking for someone that has a Commercial Drivers License or experience transporting children.
