Job summary

Shaw Industries Group Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Trims and Samples operation by identifying opportunities, developing innovative solutions, and leading projects that improve productivity, quality, and customer responsiveness.

You will partner with operations, engineering, R&D, and supply chain to optimize workflows and support new product initiatives. This role offers strategic problem solving with hands‑on engagement in a dynamic manufacturing environment, including

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Experience using data and performance metrics to drive improvements.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Partner with department leaders to improve manufacturing processes, workflow efficiency, and operational performance.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop innovative solutions that increase productivity and quality.
Lead cross‑functional projects from concept through implementation with measurable results.
Support R&D and product development by evaluating processes and testing solutions.
Analyze manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks and drive data‑based decisions.
Evaluate product and material flow to optimize throughput and efficiency.
Troubleshoot process, system, and workflow challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
Perform project and capital analysis, including cost savings, ROI, and business cases.
