Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Trimmer to ensure crew safety while maintaining 5S. You will install and remove trim tooling, adjust trim press shut height, and assist hammer operators with adjustments. Visual monitoring of air lines, product quality checks, and timely issue reporting are required.

Ideal candidates can stand 10 hours, operate the trim press per management, and handle platters with care. EOE/AA.

Qualifications

• Stand for long shifts and manipulate parts with tongs.
• Operate the trim press within cycle times set by management.
• Handle platters with extreme care during processing.
• Possess ability to fabricate or assemble tongs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Installation and removal of trim tooling.
• Adjust trim press shut height.
• Assist hammer operator with adjustments and knocking out or driving in hammer keys.
• Visually monitor and adjust air line for removal of scale.
• Visually inspect product for defects.
• Report any issues on cell or with trim tooling.
