Job summary

Skilled Trades Services in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring trim carpenters and cabinet makers for on-site, full-time roles. You will build displays for auto shows, lobbies, and museum properties, measuring, cutting, and assembling with various woods and laminates.

Prior bench carpentry and blueprint reading are valued; OT may be required. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to follow blueprints, operate woodworking machines, and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials.
• Operate woodworking machines and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and fabricate custom displays for auto shows, trade shows, lobbies and museum properties.
• Layout, cut and assemble wood components, reading tapes and blueprints.
• Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and slides; frame cabinets and countertops.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics and use a variety of machines.
• Lead a crew when requested and work well within a team.
