Job summary

Arizona Complete Health is seeking a liaison to coordinate behavioral and physical health services for Native American communities in Arizona. The role focuses on tribal outreach, program development, and education to improve access to care.

The candidate will train Tribes, maintain data inputs, and produce monthly reports while traveling to rural and remote areas. Knowledge of Native American cultures and strong communication with tribal leaders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Public Health, Health Care Administration, Social Work or Nursing (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Native American cultures and communicating with Tribal Leaders and Community Members.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose: Act as the liaison regarding the delivery of behavioral health and/or physical health services to Native Americans.

Key Details: Candidates must reside in Arizona, with a preference for those located in the Phoenix area. Previous experience with tribal health services and community outreach is preferred.

• Responsible for providing development and training to Native American Tribes.
• Maintain database inputs and extract monthly reports reflecting trends and patterns in reported incidents.
• Assist community with prevention and awareness.
• Make recommendations for investigations, follow ups and/or corrective actions.
• Conduct interviews and site visits to discuss cultural needs.
• Requires extensive travel to rural communities and remote areas.
• Develop and communicate physical and/or behavioral health programs as applicable to the members of Native American Tribes.
• Answer general questions regarding applicable policies, procedures, and statutes.
• Offer assistance and make presentations on new materials.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience in Behavioral Health, Public Health, Health Care Administration, Social Work or Nursing. 3+ years of related experience. Experience with and comprehensive knowledge of Native American cultures. Experience communicating with Tribal Leaders and Community Members regarding the needs of Native Americans.Pay Range: $56,200.00 - $101,000.00 per year
