Job Summary

We seek an experienced and professional Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport various goods and materials from one location to another. You will have to pave and mill. You will plan the most efficient route, ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience driving tri-axle trucks and paving, making safety a priority.

Responsibilities

1. Pick up materials and goods in one location and transport to another location.
2. Working on construction sites
3. Paving & Milling
4. Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance
5. Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel
6. Adhere to delivery schedules
7. Maintain detailed driving log, including work periods, rest periods, and fuel expenses.
8. Comply with all company policies and driving laws

Qualifications

1. Previous experience as a Truck Driver is preferred
2. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
3. Graduation certificate from trucking school is preferred
4. Familiarity with GPS systems, CB radios, and Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) technology
5. Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations
6. Clean driving record
7. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
8. Willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances
