Synectics Inc. is seeking an attorney licensed in Maryland to represent clients across the state in personal injury matters.

The candidate will own caseloads and manage matters from filing through discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial, collaborating with paralegals and staff to ensure thorough preparation. You should have strong courtroom skills and litigation experience, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, to deliver favorable outcomes for clients and maintain

Qualifications

• Active Maryland bar membership in good standing.
• Ideally 2+ years of litigation/trial experience in personal injury or related areas.
• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload from filing through discovery, hearings, mediations and trial.
• Represent clients in personal injury matters from initial litigation to settlement or verdict.
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and memoranda.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Handle mediations, hearings and trial proceedings, including jury selection and opening/closing statements.

• Note: This role can sit ANYWHERE in Maryland! Must have an active MD Law License. The compensation for this role includes a base of $75,000 plus a bonus percentage. Trial Lawyers typically average $100,000 - $150,000 in year one.
