Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a paralegal or legal assistant to provide litigation support across civil matters. You will draft, format, and file pleadings and discovery, manage calendars, and coordinate document production.

You will also assist with deposition and trial prep while maintaining organized files and meeting tight deadlines. The role requires at least 1 year of litigation support experience plus familiarity with civil procedures; strong organizational and communication skills are

Qualifications

• 1+ year of litigation support experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
• Familiarity with civil litigation procedures and court filings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of civil cases.
• Assist with drafting, formatting, and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars.
• Coordinate document production, review, and organization.
• Assist with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and exhibits.
• Conduct basic legal and factual research as needed.
• Communicate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel under attorney direction.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files.
