Responsibilities

• Prepare for and conduct hearings, settlements, and trials of complex cases.
• Prepare memoranda and pleadings based on factual and legal research.
• Participate in pretrial conferences and trials in federal/state courts and administrative proceedings.
• Provide advice to junior trial attorneys and handle appellate litigation as necessary.
• Consult with the Chief to report on status of cases and policy-related matters.
