Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm, seeks a mid- to senior-level Trial Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join its California-based litigation team. This role focuses on warranty-related litigation for automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers.

Prior warranty experience is not required. The role offers significant courtroom responsibility, opportunities for growth, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
• Significant trial/arbitration experience including opening statements, closing arguments, witness examinations, and motions.

Responsibilities

• Defend automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealerships in warranty and related consumer litigation matters.
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation from start to trial.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Handle witness preparation and examination.
• Deliver opening statements and closing arguments.
• Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with clients and legal teams.
• Maintain regular client communication and case reporting.

Trial Attorney - Warranty Litigation (5+ yrs) - SF/LA/SD

Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level Trial Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join its California-based litigation team. This role focuses exclusively on representing and defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related litigation matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trial lawyer seeking significant courtroom responsibility and a robust litigation practice. Prior warranty litigation experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Defend automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealerships in warranty and related consumer litigation matters
• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, from initial assessment through trial or resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft and argue substantive motions
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Handle witness preparation and examination
• Deliver opening statements and closing arguments
• Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with clients and legal teams
• Maintain regular client communication and case reporting

Qualifications

• Active membership and good standing with the California Bar
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience
• Significant trial and/or arbitration experience, including:
• Opening statements
• Closing arguments
• Witness examinations
• Motion practice

Preferred Experience

• Experience defending complex commercial, product liability, consumer protection, or automotive-related litigation matters
• Prior warranty litigation experience is a plus but not required
