Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our Medical Group in Round Lake Beach, IL. The role is 20 hours per week with a schedule that may include weekday and Saturday hours, and travel to other sites as needed.

You will provide nursing care under the direction of the Practice Manager and Physicians, perform phone triage, review test results, manage medication refills and prior authorizations, and educate patients. Proficiency with Epic EMR is required.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required.
• Graduate of NLN accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of the Practice Manager and Physicians.
• Conduct phone triage, review test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient education.

Hourly Pay Range: $35.15 - $54.48 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Registered Nurse Medical Group
• Location: Round Lake Beach, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Part Time (20 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday through Friday Mnday through Friday 8:30am -5:00pm, Saturdays from 8am -12pm or 9am - 1pm
• Required Travel: Travel to other sites based on department need

What you will do

• Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians
• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care patient education/teaching
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients
• Chart in Epic, our electronic medical record

What you will need

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider requiredExperience: 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
