Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as a triage nurse integral to comprehensive patient care.

• Collaborate within the Ambulatory Nursing team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte.

Work full-time days, Monday-Thursday 7a-5p and Friday 7a-4p

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process

Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures

Serve as a triage nurse integral to comprehensive patient care

Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication

Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum

Collaborate within the Ambulatory Nursing team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Prior Women’s health OBGYN experience preferred
• Prior Triage Nursing experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Demonstrates expertise in patient care coordination, triage nursing, and evidence-based clinical decision-making while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
