Job summary

Passavant Memorial Homes in Harmar, PA is seeking a full-time Triage Nurse to provide on-site nursing support for children and specialized adult residential programs, under the supervision of the Program Operations Director.

The role requires PA RN license, valid driver’s license, and 1–2 years of medical/surgical or geriatric nursing experience; benefits include comprehensive insurance, PTO, 401(k), and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional and/or practical nursing.
Current PA nursing license by examination required.
Valid PA Driver’s License is required.
1–2 years’ experience in medical/surgical or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform clinical nursing skills with fundamentals understanding.
On-site monitoring of community residential settings as required.
Monitor staff completion of new medication orders and documentation.
Provide ongoing assessment and planning to assure health needs are met.
Administer injections as needed (e.g. Depo-Provera, Hepatitis B vaccines, TDap boosters).
Complete dietary in-service for specialized diets and send to community homes.
Filing of labs, physician orders, consults and related paperwork.
Communicate daily with hospital staff and update Clinical Services Director and Regional Directors.
Complete other duties as assigned by Clinical Services Director.
