Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a part-time Triage Nurse to cover night shifts. The role involves taking calls from injured workers, assessing medical status, applying triage protocols, and directing to the appropriate level of care.

You will work with the injured person, the claim’s examiner, employers, and medical providers to ensure proper patient flow. Schedule includes 10 PM to 4 AM (or 10 PM to 6 AM) Central Time, Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays, and every other Monday night, with additional shifts

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license required to practice in a U.S. state or territory.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from injured workers and perform initial triage.
• Assess medical status and apply triage protocols.
• Direct workers to appropriate level of care.
• Coordinate with the claim examiner, employers and medical providers.
• Follow account guidelines for the triage process.

We are seeking a part-time (12-18 hours per week) Triage Nurse to cover night shift. A Triage Nurse takes calls from injured workers, assesses their current medical status, applies appropriate triage protocols, and directs the injured worker to seek the appropriate level of care. The Triage Nurse follows specific account guidelines to complete the triage process. The Triage Nurse works with the injured person, the claim’s examiner, employers, and medical providers.

Schedule:

• 10 PM to 4 AM (or 10 PM to 6 AM) Central Time
• Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday nights
• Every other Monday night
• Availability to pick up additional shifts (day, evening, night) as determined by business needs
• Shift differentials are included

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered compact RNlicense required
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) a plus
• Professional licenses or certifications required to meet qualifications for this position must be current, unrestricted and allow for practice within a state or territory of the United States.
