Job description
Overview

A leading medical center is seeking additional neurologists to join its growing and dynamic Department of Neurology. As a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center, the program offers excellent hospital support, advanced facilities, and a strong patient base. With the recent closure of a nearby hospital, patient volume has significantly increased, creating an even greater need for specialized neurological care.

The neurology team is expanding its existing team, adding new specialists to complement its existing group of four. The current team includes an interventional neurologist performing thrombectomies and a second neurosurgeon joining soon. The team also consists of a neurohospitalist, while three outpatient neurologists provide inpatient call on weekends.

Positions
  • Neurohospitalist (7-on/7-off schedule)
  • General Outpatient Neurologist with sub-specialty clinics in the following:
    • Dementia Specialist
    • Movement Disorders/Parkinson’s Specialist (will be the only one in the region)
    • Multiple Sclerosis Specialist
    • Neuromuscular/EMG Specialist (supported by five dedicated EMG technicians)
