Job summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a Trenchless Project Engineer to design and support underground infrastructure projects using HDD, microtunneling, auger boring, Direct Pipe, and tunneling methods.

You’ll prepare calculations, develop plans in AutoCAD, and help solve design and field challenges for crossings beneath rivers, highways, and other sensitive areas. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program with 3+ years trenchless design experience and PE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 3+ years of trenchless design experience (HDD, microtunneling, Direct Pipe, or auger boring).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain PE licensure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of civil design and drawings.
• Strong ability for critical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and support underground infrastructure projects across HDD, microtunneling, auger boring, and Direct Pipe.
• Prepare calculations and supporting engineering analyses.
• Develop plans in AutoCAD and coordinate with field teams to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Assist in field construction support and problem solving for complex crossings beneath rivers, highways, and other sensitive areas.
