Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for Entry-level and Skilled Trimmers and Climbers to support our nationwide utility vegetation management crews. On-the-job training is provided, offering an opportunity to build a long-term career in the line clearance industry.

We value individuals who enjoy outdoor work and can handle all-weather conditions. This full-time, non-exempt role includes competitive hourly wages based on experience and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Willing and able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies, including holidays and weekends.
• No fear of heights.
• Ability to obtain a Driver's License or Commercial Driver’s License when required.
• Ability to obtain Herbicide license when required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with ladders or from ground using pruners, saws, and other tools.
• Operates and maintains all required tools/equipment.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate work and communicate with customers.
• Relays hand signals and assists with safety and traffic control as assigned.
• Loads/unloads trucks and assists in equipment maintenance.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Entry-level position, no experience required

Previous experience is a plus
