Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in California, Redding area, for full-time, hourly work. The role includes trimming/removing trees, operating equipment, and maintaining site safety while handling debris, traffic control, and coordination with teams.

Entry-level friendly with a high school diploma preferred; good hand-eye coordination and endurance are essential for climbing and tool use in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Climb and work from ladders at various heights in changing weather.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks; feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Sets up barriers and directs traffic to protect workers.
