Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming, removal, and related work in a fast-paced outdoor setting. You will operate tools, load debris, and ensure safety while protecting the public. The role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, can climb and work at heights, and have a valid driver’s license if available. Entry-level applicants are welcome; previous tree service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights on uneven surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences and walkways.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks and equipment.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
