Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt role in Missouri. The position involves trimming/removing trees, operating and servicing tools, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining site safety. Must handle heavy outdoor work and withstand varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities include directing traffic with signals, loading debris, and assisting in training new staff while ensuring equipment and vehicles stay in good condition.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment.
