Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our field crew in Kansas City. You will trim and remove trees, operate equipment, and help maintain safe work sites. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position with opportunities for hands-on training.

The role requires physical fitness, comfort with heights, and reliable teamwork. Prior tree-trimming experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are considered for training in safety procedures and equipment use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into a woodchipper.
• Maintain safe and orderly work areas and safeguard others.
