Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming, removal, and related tasks in outdoor environments. You will operate equipment, load debris, and assist in maintaining safe work areas.

Qualifications include being 18+, no fear of heights, and good hand-eye coordination. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with competitive hourly pay and strong benefit offerings including health insurance and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains and services tools and equipment.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks and equipment as assigned.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
