Job summary

Asplundh Careers is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work in the United States. The role involves trimming trees, operating and maintaining equipment, loading debris, and ensuring safety for crew and the public in various weather conditions.

Entry-level position with potential for growth; a drug screen/background/MVR check may be required. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and EAP; driver’s license preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work at various heights and in adverse weather conditions.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services tools and equipment.
• Cleans and maintains trucks and work areas.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Safeguards crew and the public from hazards in the work area.
