Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Kentucky is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work. You will trim and remove trees, operate tools, and maintain safety while supporting customers and crews in the field.

Ideal candidates are 18+, able to work at heights, with good hand-eye coordination and stamina. A high school diploma is preferred; a driver’s license is a bonus. Pre-employment screens may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
