Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming and related tasks in Marion, NC. You will operate and maintain specialized equipment, work from elevated positions, and follow safety protocols to protect workers and the public.

This entry‑level role offers full‑time hours, a non‑exempt status, and competitive hourly pay; prior experience is not required. Training will cover equipment use, safety procedures, and tree‑care best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights and good hand–eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into pieces for disposal.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent regrowth.
• Load and unload trucks; feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Maintain and repair tools, trucks, and work areas.
