The starting package ranges from $30.33 to $41.41 per hour. We offer fulltime hours, a 4-day workweek with 10-hour days, overtime when available, weekly direct deposit, paid training, and comprehensive benefits through the union

Qualifications

• Fulltime position in tree care field.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and remove trees and logs using industry best practices.
• Operate saws, wedges, and equipment safely.
• Apply herbicides as indicated and follow maps.
• Load/unload materials, assist with debris removal, and feed brush into woodchipper.
• Maintain safety around job sites and keep equipment clean and functional.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Essential Functions

• Cut, and/or trims using various industry best management practices.
• Uses wedges, sledges, and chain saws in felling trees or trimmed trunks and in cutting and splitting logs into manageable pieces.
• Herbicide application to prevent further growth as indicated on maps.
• Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Utilize best management practices to safeguards other employees and public from jobsite hazards in and around work area.
• Inspect tools, truck, and other work equipment. Request repair or replacement equipment, when necessary. Maintains good housekeeping on truck and at work locations.
• Commitment to work safe daily.
• Perform other related work, as assigned by superiors.

STARTING PACKAGE BETWEEN $30.33 -41.41/hr.
