Qualifications

• Experience as a tree trimmer with coconut tree skills.
• Knowledge of tree care techniques and safety protocols.
• Physically fit and comfortable heights and weather.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• ISA Arborist certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Hawaii's tropical trees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trim, prune, and maintain trees - especially coconut trees to promote health, safety, and visual appeal.
• Safely climb trees using proper equipment and techniques, following industry safety standards at all times.
• Assess tree health and recommend treatments or removals when necessary.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including chainsaws, pole pruners, and rigging gear.
• Work collaboratively with the landscaping team to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, ensuring responsible disposal of debris.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and guidance on tree care needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a tree trimmer, with proven ability to climb and trim coconut trees.
• Knowledge of tree care techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in arboriculture or tree climbing (such as ISA Certified Arborist) is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with Hawaii's native and tropical tree species is preferred.

Compensation
