Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Plant Health Care Specialist to monitor, evaluate, and address the health needs of trees and shrubs on commercial and residential properties in Oregon. The role emphasizes hands-on training, safety, and professional development within Bartlett's arborist team.

Applicants should be passionate about nature, prepared to work outdoors year-round, and able to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Commercial Pesticide Applicator License within 90 days
• Experience in the field of plant health care
• Knowledge of trees and shrubs common to the region
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely

Responsibilities

• Perform tree and shrub care treatments using spray, injection, or soil methods as prescribed
• Communicate with clients about work performed during site visits
• Mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety procedures and label instructions
• Maintain and operate equipment and vehicles used on site
• Complete accurate daily records and reporting
• Safely drive company vehicle to multiple properties
• Work as part of a tree care crew under supervision in off-season
